General Information
The Turkish Language Teaching Department, which was opened in 2017 within the Faculty of Education of Cyprus Science University, continues its education and training with its rich staff. The Turkish Language Teaching Department is located within the campus of Cyprus Science University and this campus is on the Belapais road, one of the most beautiful residential areas of Kyrenia. This campus with sea and mountain views is one of the most distinguished regions of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Our department, which has been continuing its education uninterruptedly since the day it was founded in this peaceful nest where all the beauties come together, aims to make great strides forward.
Turkish Language Teaching is one of the branches most needed by Primary Schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. Recently, the demand of foreigners to learn Turkish has increased. This increase has made Turkish Language Teaching advantageous. The main purpose of this program is to train Turkish Language Teachers needed in the education systems of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the Republic of Turkey. In line with this purpose, our main vision is; Our aim is to train qualified and competent educators who are contemporary, innovative, open to change, learning to learn, have acquired information society competencies, always focused on success and serving the society, internalize Atatürk’s Principles and Revolutions, and contribute to social problems related to education through the production and application of scientific knowledge in the field of teacher training and educational sciences.
