The need for physiotherapy applications is increasing in injuries, diseases, disabilities, musculoskeletal disorders and pain and dysfunctions caused by various diseases. In the success of treatments, it is of great importance that the necessary applications are carried out by well-trained physiotherapy technicians.
To train physiotherapy technicians who are equipped with contemporary knowledge and skills, who have developed research and problem-solving skills, who can use technological tools and equipment, and who care about human health and ethical values, which are intensely lacking in state hospitals, private hospitals, university hospitals, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation clinics and special branch centers during the two-year associate degree education period.
Turkish students are accepted to the PHYSIOTHERAPY department according to the results of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) based on TYT (numerical) score type.
Job Opportunities
Those who complete the Physiotherapy Technician Program are given the title of Physiotherapy Technician along with their associate degree diploma.
Graduates can work in public and private inpatient/non-inpatient health institutions and organizations and rehabilitation centers affiliated with the Ministry of Health, inpatient/non-inpatient health institutions and organizations affiliated with universities, in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation clinics and special branch centers, nursing homes, spa-cure centers, and hotels for health tourism.
Candidates who successfully complete their associate degree education can continue their undergraduate education in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation programs with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). Above Form
