General Information

The field of Nutrition and Dietetics is a basic science that studies the types, quantities, properties of nutrients, their roles in biochemical and physiological processes, the composition of nutrients, physical and chemical properties, the effects of processes applied to nutrients from production to consumption, and also the components that contaminate food in various ways and cause food pollution. The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Master’s Degree aims to update the existing information within the scope of these titles and to ensure that it is used in many areas, especially in the development of health.

Our university provides both thesis and non-thesis Master’s Degree education in Turkish for those who want to improve themselves in the fields of Nutrition and Dietetics within the Graduate Education and Research Institute. The main purpose of the Nutrition and Dietetics Master’s Degree program is to train individuals who work in both the public and private sectors and want to improve themselves. In addition, by gaining the knowledge and skills to plan, conduct research on food and nutrition, and produce solutions according to the results, to contribute to the prevention of nutritional problems in society and to healthy nutrition.
