First and Emergency Aid

General Information

The First and Emergency Aid program aims to train First and Emergency Aid Technicians who can effectively and safely provide the necessary first aid to patients or injured people at the scene of an illness or accident, and ensure that patients or injured people are transported safely to healthcare institutions in well-equipped ambulances. Our mission in this program, where First and Emergency Aid Technicians, who are the indispensable building blocks of the healthcare sector, are trained, is to pioneer the training of healthcare professionals who have high knowledge and skills, can provide basic and advanced life support, and have the knowledge and attitude to apply professional values ​​and ethical principles in emergency healthcare services. In line with this purpose, this program includes compulsory courses aimed at providing sufficient knowledge and skills related to the profession, practices regarding providing problem-solving skills and communication within the team, and compulsory summer internship.

Job Opportunities

Graduates of this program can work in 112 emergency aid stations, 112 command and control centers, and public and private hospital emergency services. They can also work in areas where first and emergency aid services are needed (fire departments search and rescue units within municipalities, private ambulances, private hospitals, private companies, sports events, airports, beaches and pools if they receive lifeguard training).
