General Information
Electrical and Electronics Engineering aims to design an education-training program to train Electrical and Electronics engineers who are competitive, socially and ethically responsible, who can follow technological and basic science developments and apply them, and who have the knowledge and skills to practice their profession anywhere in the world.
In this context, the aim of our program is to contribute to the science and technology production of our students in different fields of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, to train highly qualified engineers equipped with the knowledge and skills required by the age, who have the ability to solve problems and think analytically, and to support the technological development of our country through engineering activities carried out in cooperation with industry.
To design an education-training program to train Electrical and Electronics engineers who are competitive, socially and ethically responsible, who can follow technological innovations and apply them, and who have the knowledge and skills to practice their profession anywhere in the world. Education in our department is provided in a modern building equipped with advanced laboratories, and all kinds of technological opportunities required by our age are offered to the service of education. In addition, in order to meet the various needs of our department students, they benefit from various social, cultural and academic environments such as open and closed playgrounds, canteens, cafeterias, student clubs, centers and libraries offered for common use within the university campus.

Our graduates work alone or in teams in the fields of electricity production, transmission, distribution and control; electronic circuit design and production; signal processing and communication system design, production and control; and work as field engineers and project engineers in national and international institutions in the public and private sectors.
With the scientific and social skills they have acquired, they have the ability to think critically, provide interdisciplinary collaboration and manage in the environments in which they work.
They can pursue higher level education (master’s and doctorate).
- They can establish national and international companies.
- To train Electrical and Electronics Engineers who are sensitive to local and universal problems of the age and have professional awareness
- To bring graduates who are open to developments and can constantly renew themselves to society.
Teaching – learning methods and strategies are selected to increase students’ skills such as self-study, lifelong learning, observation, teaching others, research and presentation, critical thinking, teamwork, effective use of informatics, and practical application. Our undergraduate program, with our distinguished academics and expert staff, prepares our students as electrical and electronics engineers of the future.
