The vision of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master’s Program is to train innovative and leading physiotherapists with advanced knowledge and skills in the field of health and to be a nationally and internationally recognized program in physiotherapy science. Our aim is to contribute to society and science by ensuring that our graduates take on leading roles in the health sector.
The mission of our program is to train physiotherapists who are committed to ethical values, have critical thinking skills, and are specialized in research and clinical practice. We aim to provide our students with advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills, so that they can contribute to multidisciplinary studies in the field of health and conduct scientific research.
The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master’s Program offers a comprehensive education that aims to provide in-depth knowledge and advanced expertise in the field of physiotherapy. The program is structured to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Basic and Advanced Courses: The program offers a wide range of courses starting from basic physiotherapy principles to advanced topics such as neurological rehabilitation, sports physiotherapy, pediatric and geriatric physiotherapy. Students receive training using modern treatment methods and the latest technologies.
Research and Thesis Studies: Students receive comprehensive training in scientific research methods and prepare an original thesis study in their own areas of interest. This process provides students with the skills to conduct research, analyze data, and interpret results.
The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master’s program is a thesis program, and a minimum of 8 courses and one seminar course must be taken within a two-year period to complete the program. Graduates of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Faculty, the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of the School of Health can apply to the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master’s program.
Job Opportunities
Graduates of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Master’s Program can work as expert physiotherapists, academic researchers, clinical instructors or faculty members at universities. In addition, our graduates can operate independently by opening their own private clinics. The program allows graduates to assume leadership and innovation roles in the health sector.
