General Information
Cyprus Science University School of Justice started education in the 2016-2017 academic year with the approval of YÖK and YÖDAK.
The purpose of establishing our Cyprus Science University School of Justice was determined to train qualified intermediate manpower needed in various units of the Ministry of Justice and to provide in-service training to personnel working in the Ministry Organization.
Our school, which is a vocational higher education institution, currently offers various courses at associate degree level in three basic programs: Public Law, Private Law and Professional Information groups.
Our Justice Program was established within the Ministry of Justice to meet the need for qualified intermediate manpower “Justice Professional Personnel” in positions such as clerkship directorate, enforcement directorate and deputy enforcement directorate, directorate of penal institutions, penal execution officer, court clerk, law units of other public institutions, notaries, law units of banks and other private institutions, and law offices. In addition, if our graduates are successful in the DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam), they also have the opportunity to make a vertical transfer to Law Faculties.
Our Justice Program, which provides vocational higher education services at the associate degree level, aims to train qualified judicial personnel needed in the field of law and judicial services in our country in accordance with the curriculum prepared considering the professional needs of today and the future, and to train students who have basic legal knowledge, know how to apply it and follow technology. Again, our Program considers it its duty to train graduates who internalize contemporary and universal values, can update themselves and have acquired application skills. In the Justice Program, which is a field with a lot of job opportunities, theoretical and practical information is provided considering the qualifications required by justice services. In this context, the curriculum of our program mainly consists of law courses. In addition to these courses, courses such as computer, keyboard usage, office management and accounting are also given in order to prepare students for the profession/practice in the best way.
