Our Faculty of Law, which started its activities in the 2017-2018 Academic Year, aims to train qualified lawyers who are equipped to use at least one foreign language very well professionally, with a comparative law perspective on the basic principles of international law as well as Turkish Positive Law.

Dear Students, Welcome to the Faculty of Law of Cyprus Science University, which you have chosen as the first step in your goal of becoming lawyers with superior qualities of the future. First of all, I would like to express my happiness to be under the same institutional roof with you and I greet you all with love and respect.

Our Faculty of Law aims to prepare our students in the best way for their future professional lives with its academic staff, each of whom is an expert in their fields and an educational approach where practice and theory are intertwined from the first semester onwards.

In addition to the compulsory basic courses that should be included in the curriculum of law schools, international law and Legal English, Cyprus Science University Faculty of Law has adopted a multi-dimensional education-training program that also includes virtual court and clinical courses for practice. Therefore, it has been accepted as a basic criterion that our Faculty students have the necessary professional qualifications in order to find and work in traditional legal professions such as judgeship, prosecutorship, notary, attorneyship and legal consultancy, as well as in the state and other public administrations and institutions and the private sector.

I recommend that you be in constant communication with our academic staff on legal issues throughout your education life and make the most efficient use of our Faculty’s academic and social opportunities; I wish you continued success in your education and training life.
